Pyramid Door is a company that manufactures commercial and residential garage doors. Pyramid Doors is a privately held company that is a large competitor in the market place. Pyramid Doors specializes in manufacturing insulated and non-insulated steel residential commercial garage doors. II. Problem

The corporate sales goal for 2006 was set at $12.5 million; this will represent an increase in sales from the year 2005. The problem facing Pyramid is whether or not their distribution strategy would be conducive to the overall pale

III. S.W.O.T

With the attributes above all companies are slated to have strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to their business. Some of the strengths of the company include, this company has a long history conducting this type of business which can be seen as 10 years in the business. Pyramid enjoys the benefit of having more than 300 relationships with businesses and 50 exclusive business deals. In reference to the company infrastructure they have quick delivery with two distribution centers and a distribution facility. The distribution facility also operates the manufacturing process of the doors which can be seen as a strength and opportunity. This allows the company to have more control over new product introductions and modifications. One weakness is that they are small in scale and they have no cooperation with home center chains. A threat can be seen as the barging power of suppliers is growing and the knowledge of competitors in the industry.

IV. Alternative Actions
