Summary

What does it take to achieve growth in a world with endless commerce? Most firms establish a good fight: claiming the favor of the odds and battling against odds. However, surviving throughout the years is what matters most.

A game plan should always be the wild card of a businessman to sustain a stable growth. It should define the company’s objectives, mission and vision for short-term and long term results. It made a lasting impact to eBay Inc. and gave Pierre Omidyar the edge to overcome failure and the gateway to success.

The success of eBay Inc. was made visual by the statistics from a simple auction web to acquisition of different companies. eBay Inc. was able to achieve their objectives, mission and goals by adapting to change and continuously do the impossible but attainable.

The conclusion is that they did not just focus on their customers but answered all the necessary questions, filled the probable loopholes and solved whatever problems they may encounter in the future. Change is good. A game plan’s effectiveness and efficiency today might not be as effective and efficient tomorrow.

Critique

The case study was more about the great things of the eBay, Inc. It was more on the good side and omitted the possible information that may affect the image of a E-Commerce giant.

These are the strengths of the content: It is easy for me to believe the authenticity of the article because it was made on statistical analysis. It was easy for me to understand, as well, because the usage of the terms is basic. It also gave me the motivation to engage in E-Commerce.
