1.0 Introduction

Management of logistic is proven to increase in company’s efficiency and cost savings, therefore many business owners nowadays are putting more and more concern in logistic management (Richards & Grinsted, 2013). Logistic is one of the key elements in supply chain management which has an important role to plan, implements, and controls efficiency, effectiveness flow and services, storage of goods and relate information from point-of-origin to the point-of-consumption in order to meet customers’ satisfaction (Arul, n.d.). Logistic plays a very important role in economics and business because of the benefits it contributed to the society and also in the business world. Physical items such as materials, liquids, animals, and equipment as well as abstract items such as time, particles, energy and information are also known as the resources managed in logistic. Logistic is able to create efficiencies and operational effectiveness in various organization these days (Richards & Grinsted, 2013).

2.0 Logistic

Administration of resources in logistic consist of both physical and nonrepresentational items. Physical items consist of equipment, flora and fauna, fluid while nonrepresentational items consist of energy, particle and data. The common motivation in logistic for importation and exportation is to minimize the use of resources to the lowest point (Richards & Grinsted, 2013). All industries that are surrounded with logistic are also known as practical cargo space tower (Arul, n.d.). It comes with a combination of information, transportation, catalogue, warehousing, fabric handling, and wrapping. Logistic also consists of different modes of transportation such as air, sea, space or land. It is then divided into three different categories that include concept, technology and activities.
