Introduction
This paper is about comparing the economies of Ireland and Bulgaria. Even though these two countries seem very different relating to their geographical position, culture etc., we learn that they do have certain similarities in concern to their economies. What these differences and similarities are will be discussed in the following chapters.
The main problem this paper focusses on is the following: the fact that the GDP of Bulgaria is far behind that of Ireland and its growth is also lagging. How is this possible? To find out, I will take the following steps.
