A girl is born and is already being called a princess with soft hands, silky hair and many more words to label her to be weak or be less strong than a man. No one says a little woman is born but everyone says welcome this little man. Society has so much control over even deciding what toys the babies will play with. The minute people find out it’s a girl; there are dolls, teddy bears and etc. for the girl to play with. A baby girl cries everyone runs to thinking she needs someone there, but a baby boy cries everyone yells out “be a man”. Now why does this sexism start at such early stages?

This girl grows up and gets new toys. But, what are these toys now? There is a little house with furniture so the girl learns to clean the house; there is a kitchen with many dishes for the girl to learn what the society calls “the roles of a woman”. But, this girl is different. She doesn’t like the rules of the society; she wants to play with cars and guns. Now, many dislike her because she is not doing what a girl should be doing at this age.

Time goes on and she is now a teenager, still struggling with the society’s perception of a girl. She wants to play on a football team but doesn’t get much support from friends or family, why? because she is a girl. She doesn’t like to wear make up to prove to the society that she is a girl, because according to her wearing make up is not a must for a girl. The commercial world has this control over the society about how a girl should look. But she thinks, wearing make up or wearing all these fashionable clothes(mini skirts, short dresses, short shorts) don’t make her any more like a girl, but makes her feel like she is in a trap of this society.

She goes on to get trained to be a football player, but still is a female. The society labels her as “the bad girl” because she doesn’t wear what the society calls “feminism clothes” and she doesn’t wear make up. Her family forced her to move out because she doesn’t fit in to the society...
