Lincoln Purchases Boston Area Data Center
1888 Press Release Marlborough data center considered prime fiber optic hub.
Dallas Lincoln Rackhouse, data center division of Lincoln Property Company has purchased 34 St. Martin
Street, a data center and office facility located in Marlborough Massachusetts.
"We capitalized on a unique opportunity to secure this property for its important location at the cross roads
of the Boston region's deep colocation and connectivity network," said Martin Peck, Lincoln Rackhouse
Managing Director. "Boston has become a traffic hub for all of New England's interconnected networks.
Additionally, the Boston region is well served by many technology companies that rely on the area's robust
local, national and international fiber networks."
34 St. Martin, which offers expansion opportunities, is currently 100% leased, of which over 70% is
currently leased to data center tenants. Significant longhaul fiber routes originate from all directions
through the building and it draws a wide array of colocation customers. Additionally, it is ideally located
close to multiple data centers and telecommunication companies in the area.
Lincoln Property Company's Boston office will oversee management and leasing of the facility. Lincoln
Rackhouse , has been active in data center real estate investments purchasing assets located in Texas,
Colorado, North Carolina and New York.
