Hiring the best Manager for the organization and be able to achieve the company’s goal - sales and profitability.

D. STATEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES

• To identify the qualifications and requirements in hiring the best sales manager for the organization.

• To create and establish the roles, duties and responsibilities of the sales man manager needed for the organization.

• To establish and conduct an appraisal for all employees and managers – and be able to monitor employees and manager’s work performance.

E. AREAS OF CONSIDERATIONS

STRENGTHS

Company

• The company was involved in several home improvements, including guttering, insulation, and room additions. Smith had the direct responsibility for supervising all operations of the company.

• Smith was also responsible for supervising work in progress and for hiring employees when the company could not contract out for work.

• A stockholder’s meeting was held in early June to discuss the position of the company; beside dealing with current problems, the financial status of the company and its organization were examined.

WEAKNESSES

Management

• An investigation indicated that Smith had not only hired unqualified workmen but had also failed to provide any supervision on the job.
