The Mayo Clinic is a charitable overall leader in medicinal consideration, examination and instruction for individuals from all kinds of different backgrounds. This non-profit health care organization was recognized as the best hospital in the nation for the years 2015-2016 by the U.S. News and World Report. Mayo Clinic has major grounds in Rochester, Minnesota; Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona; and Jacksonville, Florida. The Mayo Clinic Health System has many areas in a few states.

The Mayo Clinic has a mission that they hold important to their organization. That mission is: “To inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research.” (Mayo Clinic Missions and Values, 2016) This mission statement is highly important to the organization, as well as the people in which it serves. “The mission of an HSO may be to provide the best patient care with business survival as the underlying purpose.” (Spath, 2013) This mission statement is important to the success of this large health care organization.

00 The Mayo Clinic has value statements in which they stand by their mission. These are the visions of the original Mayo physicians and Sisters of Saint Francis.
