After hearing your response to our first proposal, we’ve decided to change the topic of our presentation to Chipotle, and the recent problems that they’ve been having with the cleanliness of their food. Many of their clients have been getting sick as a result of consuming Chipotle, and we want to investigate this problem. The setting in which we would be presenting is a meeting with the owners and managers of Chipotle. We would be hired consultants attempting to help fix their problem. The main goal of the presentation would be to attempt to find the source of the problem, and, whether or not we can do so, to implement policies and changes to the business model that would end the outbreaks.

The general layout of the presentation would be to look at all of the areas that had the outbreaks and present possible similarities among these different locations. Then we would talk more about the issue itself, and what exactly is happening to the people who have gotten sick from Chipotle. Finally, we would offer several solutions to attempt to remedy the problem. We would have solutions that are as simple as attracting better workers, and solutions that are as involved as changing Chipotle’s stance on GMO’s.

Because of the scale with which Chipotle operates, there is a plethora of information on the subject. We would be able to find where the outbreaks have occurred, when they occurred, and their level of severity. There is also information on the entire process that the food goes through, from growth to sale, that will help us in weighing the pros and cons of changing the business model.

We feel this is a realistic project for ourselves, and we’re very excited to help Chipotle get back their image that has been so significantly damaged.
