During the history of Greece, the ramification of Persian Wars plays an important role. It decided the political and cultural environments on eastern Mediterranean area after 400 BCE. The Greek poleis refer to the ancient Greek city-state, but they share few common features with modern cities. By the way, the word "politics" comes from the word" poleis". And such a settlement is called a polis. Isn’t that so". Different people will need different things, the desire and needs connect all these Greek poleis together. In addition, human beings are social networking animals, and they need to live together to survive, especially in the ancient time. The efficiency of the labor is low, the natural disasters happened every year, and people hardly have the ability to predict them, so all of these factors connected all these Greek poleis together.
