“What are the core competencies of IRM as compare to other institutes”

Introduction:

As the world is changing into the globalized world the companies are working on the emerging fields so that the companies get competitive edge. IRM (Institute Of Rural Management) is also doing research on these emerging fields. The IRM department CEE (Center Of Executive Education) offers a number of exclusively tailored courses for executives, business leaders and functional managers. As the IRM past data shows that the department CEE has decreasing number of executives in courses. CEE department is working on this problem to increase the number of enrolment.

VET (Vocational Education and Training) is designed to prepare individuals for a vocation or a specialized occupation and so is directly linked with a nation’s productivity and competitiveness. Most literature generally considers that the concept of VET is restricted to non-university education (Corn ford, 2005).

Methodology:

In this research our population is the training institutes of different cities of Pakistan. From this population we take samples. After selecting population & samples, we distribute questioners to the students of these sample institutes. We analyze the brochures of these institutes for the competitive analysis.

Expected outcomes:

• Increase in different topics to improve over course list.

• Increase the number of executives in our courses.

• Usages of different sources of communication.

• Efficient & effective implementation of education and training in different provinces of Pakistan.

• We also analyze the core competency of IRM as compare to competitors.
