Unfortunately, many business owners fail to stop and consider the critical role of the backend component of deployment and it remains one of the most underutilized decisions a business owner can implement.

What is Leadership Deployment?

One interpretation of leadership is the ability and/or characteristic of an individual to have commanding authority and/or influence and, an interpretation of deployment is to spread out; utilize; and/or strategically arrange.

Thus, Leadership Deployment is having the ability to leverage the strongest leaders of a business against the biggest challenges of the business – in other words, the careful positioning of key leaders.

Why is Leadership Deployment Important?

Deployment releases the dynamic strength of a businesses’ leadership team with the inference that each individual of the leadership team has both Latent and Dynamic strength.

• Latent Strength refers to the optimal strength that each individual is capable of displaying while Dynamic Strength refers to the actual strength that each individual has.

• The inability to effectively deploy leaders can set severe limits on the growth of a business.

• An underpowered leader who is placed in a critical role can severly hinder business operations; make irreparable business decisions; and can potentially create an incredible amount of damage in a relatively short period of time.

Even the strongest Business Owner can have minimal strength if they are hemmed in by weaker team members. Effective deployment provides immediate returns; improves organizational performance; yields synergistic gains by raising the performance capabilities of interoffice functions; and opens up additional opportunities to upgrade the caliber of leadership
