Shakespeare: The life he lived, his famous play “Romeo and Juliet”, and two great critics

The great work of Romeo and Juliet is one that was written by the famous William Shakespeare. This work is only one of many from the famous author Shakespeare. Threw out the life and work of Shakespeare he has been noted and analyzed for his contributions to literature. Just as every great authors work there are critics that bring their own opinion and meaning to the forefront. “Romeo and Juliet” has placed a mark in history of literature to last forever and to be the topic of many critics. Douglas Peterson and James Black both are known for their critical essays on this dynamic writing.

As I stated the credit of Romeo and Juliet belongs to the one and only William Shakespeare. The early life of the profound author is one to be unknown. The only factual information about Shakespeare during this time in life is a church record of his baptism. The records indicate the he was baptized at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford on April 26, 1564. From this information it is concluded, but not factually proven that Shakespeare had to have been born around April 23, 1564 In Stratford-upon-Avon, England. Shakespeare is one of six children born to John and Mary Arden. John had excelled as being a merchant and held the office position as alderman and bailiff before William was born. Mary his mother was the local landed heiress. Although John had gained great wealth as a merchant the records indicate that his business declined in the late 1570s. Williams childhood has no record of education, but it is assumed because of the position of his father that he did attend the King’s New School, in Stratford. This school in Stratford taught reading, writing, and the classics. William did get married at the age of 18 to Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1582. Anne was 26 and also pregnant at the time of their marriage. The couple’s first child was a daughter Susanna who was born on May 26, 1583....
