Summary and Introduction:

This assignment aims at selecting two architectural projects, one being in United Arab Emirates and the other being international. Both the building structures will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

* Building function

* Building elements and features

* Relationship between building form and function

* Identification whether the building is high or low rise

* Understanding of the cultural impact on the building features and appearance

The core purpose of this study is to broaden students understanding of the architecture and architectural culture on a basic level.

Both the cases will be supported with images and material from the books and online resources. References shall be provided at the end of this paper.

Objective:

Demonstrate student understanding of the insight of the building elements, form and function.
