Everyone is affected by certain events or individuals that greatly change their lives. As time goes by, more knowledge is acquired, leading to stronger schema and therefore smarter persons. This relationship can be clearly depicted in Daly’s personal experience.

Daly is a little kid. He just opened up his eyes to this new world. Passionate about tennis since he was a child, he had a dream and only one dream which was to continue his education in the United States. Sports, specifically tennis has opened many doors for him. It has been a source of personal growth, life lessons, and character development. Tennis has given him all this and more. The "more" is that it was not just a sport; it was a membrane that has connected many of his significant life events and transitions, beginning with team camps, voyages, long-lasting friendships and new horizons. Most importantly, it has unexpectedly eased him through a number of life transitions.

Days and months have passed. Daly is on the edge of achieving his dream.

It was just another morning; a month away from his high school graduation, Daly opened his eyes thinking about her when the alarm bell broke the charm. Hesitantly, he got up to get ready for school. But I guess the day had something else in the store. Daly dropped the plan of going to school and started waiting anxiously for Myriam’s phone. Clock struck ten, heart started pumping a little faster but then it slowed down with every passing moment.

He thought he was too occupied with her thoughts when he knew what future holds for him. Daly picked the phone twice to call her but something stopped him. He took his bike to visit some old friends. Her thoughts were pouring in with simmering pace even when he was stuck in the traffics of Tunis.

His ears were by then desperate to hear the ring tone that he especially set for her.
