Across the World, Industrial History Repeats Itself” Please respond to the following:

 There are many parallels between the industrialization of the United States after Reconstruction and the modernization of the American workforce in the last twenty to thirty (20-30) years as it transitions from industry to a service-oriented economy. With your knowledge of current events and what you have studied in class, compare the two (2).

*  Compare the physical migration of workers during U.S. industrialization and present-day intellectual transition into a new type of workforce. 

* Give at least two (2) examples of the role that technology played and plays in both scenarios. 

* Based on the two (2) experiences described above, describe the roles citizens as consumers play in a country’s desire for a fast-growing and yet sufficiently stable economy.

* Compare the physical migration of workers during U.S. industrialization and present-day intellectual transition into a new type of workforce. 

* Before the start of the Industrial Age, many americans held family owned businesses. When the industrialization of the U.S. began, bussinesses were being started by larger corporations who were able to better meet the growing needs of consumers. As the corporations grew, it drove out the smaller family-owned bussinesses. Today, similar activities are occurring. As technology becomes more advanced, people  and bussinesses are losing out to jobs that have a higher level of technological advancement. And while monopolization is illegal in today's society, smaller businesses are still having trouble keeping up with the bigger coprorations and they are going out of business.

* Give at least two (2) examples of the role that technology played and plays in both scenarios.
