Club IT nightclub is owned by Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada.
They are graduates with a degree in business administration. After
graduating they decided to open a nightclub together that will attract
mostly Net Generation and Millennial. Their mission is to provide a
nightclub that offers live music, a spacious dance floor, and enjoyable
entertainment, and refreshments. Lisa and Ruben have put much effort
into remodeling their club’s interior, they are starting to think about the
club’s information management systems. Club IT is located in Atlanta,
Ga. So I don’t see why the technology would be a problem for the
owner. The club has been successful over the last few months. Ruben
and Lisa want to meet with their intern to discuss the information
systems that are currently used within the company. Although they
regularly use mobile technologies such as blackberries, PDAs, camera
phones, and other wireless communication devices. Lisa and Ruben
feels as if they need a little bit more technology for the customers.
Three Business Problems Club IT has are resources, customers,
supply Chain. The problem that I see with the customers is that the items
that are being sole are not at a wide reach. Meaning they have to make
the items available for the customers at all times not just on the phone or
in person. The technology that is out here today Club It should
have ways the customers can order their camera phone on the internet
or Club It can send out text messages to all of their customers and let
them know where they can purchase their camera phones and a
blackberry phone alone with any concert tickets that may be available at
that time. The technology that’s out there today will allow Ruben and
Lisa to have that wide reach with the right supplier. Right now Club It
customers can only purchase concert tickets either one by phone or in
person. This can cause communication...
