There is no single book which adequately covers the all of the material in this course at an appropriate level. Much of the material is new and those books that do exist are either too mathematical or too narrow. Most introductory Management Science texts cover the material in the first half of the course.

There will be several readings which can be found online or in the library. You will find useful information in these books, the first two are on reserve at the library on the Burnaby campus:

Clemens, R. T.; Making Hard Decisions with Decision Tools, Southwestern / Cengage, 2004. (The 2014 version of this book will likely become the text for future semesters).

Winston and Albright; Practical Management Science, Southwestern / Cengage, 2001

Moore and Weatherford; Decision Modeling with Excel, Prentice Hall, 2001.
