The video “Guiliani Remembers 9/11”, was paid for by CNN. The Pedigree example was paid for by its company to promote its products. In Guiliani’s interview, I do believe that there is a slant. He does spend most of the interview speaking about the events of 9/11 and voices his opinion of the events. He also speaks about how as a nation, we are more aware that things like that can happen. Basically the interview is his opinion on different topics that relate to the event and the World Trace Center. I think that the slant on this interview is that at the end of it there is a little promotion of the fact that he might possibly run for presidency in 2008. If the interview were strictly about 9/11, they wouldn’t have spoken about Guiliani running for presidency.

In the Progressive commercial, there is a slant. The main point of a commercial is to get consumers to buy a product. In the progressive commercials, they are proclaiming that they have the best insurance for the best price. It is their goal to make people believe that their insurance is better than any one else’s.

I am skeptical about the credibility of the CNN new clip. The whole entire interview is based on Guiliani’s opinions. Opinions are not credible unless there are sources to back them up, and he did have any sources to back up his claims. I also did detect bias. When 9/11 happened,...
