CAREER SUMMARY

After finishing my Engineering Studies,I started my career with Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd.This is a highly renowned company in Northern India in manufacturing of Wiring Harnesses for Automobiles This is Joint Venture company between Motherson, India & Sumitomo Wiring systems of Japan. I worked with this company from August 1995 to March 1997 .During this tenure I got the opportunity to work for various sections in Quality Control & Engg. Department. There I learnt techniques like Testing , Design , Calibration of engineering equipments , Trouble shooting related to problem faced in Incoming material and at Production department.

After that I got an opportunity to work with Sony India Pvt. Ltd., which is a 100% subsidiary of Sony Corporation, Japan. They are engaged in the manufacturing of Clour Television & Audio Systems, Car Stereo, General Audio etc. Here, I worked in engineering department, who is responsible for providing Engg. Support to Production department, new model introduction, New Model Pilot production, Pre Production Trials & then Finally handing over to Production for mass production. I got exposed to many production Techniques, Kaizen activities & VA/VE Techniques. Also, I was responsible for providing Engineering support to Vendor Development Department for new supplier introduction. I got the opportunity to visit & study the process of many supplier of Electrical & Electronics components being used in the manufacturing of Color Television & Audio Systems.

Also, I was sent for training on “Green Belt Six Sigma” Training to Singapore for two weeks, which gave me an opportunity to prove my Technical skills by using the Theoretical knowledge & analytical skills. I was also given training on Technical components & Value Analysis / Value Engineering by highly qualified technical staff of Sony Corporation Japan, which not only enhanced my Technical skills but also sharpened my Trouble shooting skills.
