The sample size will be determined from a 50% ratio; it would be feasible to determine the accuracy of the information because (DADT) gave Gay and Lesbians certain equal rights. The sample size will be determined through the process of dispersion or variance with the population, the precision of estimation, and the range for error.

The statistical test involved in the research proposal will be conducted through a process of confirming the relationship between the marriage benefits or heterosexual couples versus Gay and Lesbian couple relationships. G-test or H-test, they both are similar with the exception of marriages benefits. The proposal will compare the complaints before and after measuring the variance. The measure will determine whether the sample can accurately predict the outcome or should they remain the same because of the similarity.
