1.0 Introduction/ BackgroundCrystal Mansion Resort was built in 1989, it was owned and managed by Mr. and Ms. Arturo Tan. In 1995, the property was sold to Mr. Manuel Tan name changed to Diamond Resort. In 2002, he renamed it as Diamond Resort and Hotel due to its expansion of adding new rooms and function areas. It was 1995 when Diamond Resort and Hotel became an Affiliate of Days Hotel Philippines then came 2008, Diamond Resort and Hotel is accredited by the Department of Tourism with "Class A" Category in Resort up to the present. |

2.0 Business ObjectiveThe General Objective of this project is to develop a system that will satisfy the needs of our client: To develop a system transaction of hotel customer’s reservation and settlement. To develop a system that can accurately compute for reservation bills and other customer transactions. |

3.0 Current Situation and Problem/Opportunity StatementThe problem of our client is that the diamond resort and hotel is still using a manual system where the person assigned to book reservations with a book. They also use the phone to get the reservation details of the guest. |

4.0 Critical Assumption and Constraints  This project will allow the administrator to add, edit and delete details from the guest/s information according to their room reservations. This project can access the database of the system This project can only be used for reservations. This project does not require any other outside transactions in the hotel. (Only for room reservations) This project will only show the database, the reservation system and its entire application. |
