This document will provide MB Networks technical contractors in all MB NETWORKS locations a guide on how to install The Switched Cabinet Power Distribution Unit on an MB NETWORKS cabinet and as well as perform basic configurations and enable remote management with power distribution, power monitoring and environmental monitoring. This will include rebooting, switching ON/OFF a single or dual power POP devices.

2. Importance of documenting each and every connection made on the PDU

When a cable is connected from the PDU (Power Distribution Unit) to the POP device it must be documented so that the information must be entered on the PDU web console. This will ensure that correct devices are power managed remotely by the RMS team. Below is an example of edited outlet names on PDU web console.
