When the D'Asti family headed out for the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team's game on January 29, 2014, little did they expect the experience to touch their souls and teach their whole family firsthand about the sacrifices the nation's heroes make. It all started when TouchTone Wireless Chief Executive Officer James D'Asti' expanded his company's offerings to include discounted, low cost cellular and home phone plans for the nation's heroes and made a commitment to serve the hero population by supporting the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team (WWAFT). As a sponsor of the WWAFT charity flag football game to raise awareness and support for military servicemen and women who lost limbs while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, D'Asti loaded his family into the car and took them to the game.
