Wells Fargo & Company is one of the most successful America’s multinational banking and financial service holding companies. It is considered one of the largest banks in the United States, ranking fourth by asset and being the largest by market capitalization. It is also the second largest bank in deposits, home mortgage servicing and debit card. With the headquarter being in San Francisco, California and other hub headquarters throughout the country, Wells Fargo has been registering impressive results despite the financial crisis that hit the country in 2007. This company has showed impressive management skills that have ensured its success thereby pointing to the benefits of emphasizing on better management.

Just as it is in most organization that has expressed success as part of their process, Wells Fargo had a strong form of leadership that directs and oversees the general activities in the organization. Wells Fargo management and managers provide a strong binding unit to the organization knowing none of institutions would thrive successfully without a management system. As Drucker puts it, management serves as a relegation of ownership from the business entrepreneur to managers. Management is a vital organizational resource that depends on the level of the organization and its structural component. Management promotes organizational goals such as planning, organizing, integrating, and developing people as Drucker explains. According to Drucker management implies both function and the persons discharging the duties of a manger. Without properly established management system, organizational goals would get out of hand resulting to poor performance (Drucker, 2008 p. 15).
