uidance and Counseling are very valuable to every person on earth as they play a very significant role in individual life for different situation and purpose.Both work together to protect and prevent people`s life, job,marriage and many more. Guidance and counselling is aimed at helping individuals gain insight into themselves.

Guidance and Counselling has the possible future events of identifying individuals potentials and advising appropriately for proper subjects and career choices, for adjustment within the school society and top it all assisting them to make realistic decisions about their future based on the understanding of the skills, capabilities, abilities and weaknesses.

In this task the two processes are identified and discussed as to why they are important in our daily living.

Guidance: is the process of guiding a person along a particular path, of showing them what they should do, how to do it and explaining why it should be done and the way it should be done. The goal is to get the individual to follow the path selected for them, or behave in a particular way .

The AIMS of guidance reflect each of the five aims of the school and the school's mission statement an addition to the following principles of good practice:

* To ensure that each pupil knows and is known personally and in some depth by a named member of staff.

* To identify and respond quickly and appropriately to the specific needs of individuals.
