The journal Social Problems which was published by the University of California Press. After close examination of the table of contents over the past year, I compared the kinds of problems dealt with and which would be of most concern to Americans.

Out of seven different topics found on the table of content there are three prominent that most Americans would be most concerned with. Which would be Schools against AIDS, Neo-Taylorism at Work, and Immigrant and Intimate partner Violence.

Nationwide Americans are well aware of the epidemic that is going on not only with Nationwide but also worldwide. With that being said parents are highly concerned not only for their own well being moreover the well being and safety of their children. Therefore it would be top priority for both the parents and the school system to be on the same page when it comes to policy and procedures with this worldwide epidemic.

What is Neo-Taylorism? Everyday in American job security is becoming more of an unattainable luxury. As families find themselves in financial hardships unable to put food on the table and continue to put a roof over their head it is mostly all do to the thousands of Americans losing their jobs everyday. Whether it is due to companies being mismanaged and driven to the ground to companies outsourcing many jobs to keep down company over head charges. With that being said job security and being able to provide for their families is main concern of many Americans.

In a country that was built by immigrants, any topic or law that is based on immigrant rights is always a touchy subject. Being that unless you are Native American you or an ancestor migrated to this country it should be difficult for any American to without hesitation want to send back another immigrant to their country of birth or somehow ridicule them for wanting to make a better life for themselves or their family.
