Hannah Wallace was on the fete committee of her children’s school in Sydney, NSW. They asked for donations of ingredients and then parents made food and it was sold at the school fete. Patty Banks bought a slice of cake from the cake stall. It was a sponge cake made by Jack Roberts using eggs given by Sarah Lestrange. Sarah delivered the eggs to the school on Thursday night. She had collected them from her hens that afternoon but did not know how long the hens had been sitting on them as she didn’t always collect the eggs regularly.
