My definition of a hero is someone who goes above and beyond what a normal person does. My hero put his or her life on the line to protect someone else, serve his or her country, and will do everything in his or her power to save a person’s life. My hero’s do these things because it is the right thing to do and they hope others would do the same for them. The distinction between celebrities and real life hero’s is that celebrities only act like hero’s and there is only minimal risk of injury and or death, real life hero’s put their lives on the line day in and day out. When a celebrity shows up for work they do not have the notion that he or she may not come home a real life hero knows he or she may not return home.

The only struggle I keep in my heart and truly care to remember. I was a young 20 year old and I had just lost three people in my life that I deeply cared about in a span of one month. During this time I tried to give up on life I had completely shut everyone else out that cared about me I just did not want to move on. Final one day I just thought to myself and asked myself how would the people I lost think of the way I am treating myself and the ones that care about me. I got myself together and I joined the military. The mythical story I have read was about a New York City police officer who acts on his spare time falls in love with a fellow actress and she is threatened by the local kingpin this police officer will fight through any obstacle to save the love of his life. In my opinion I do not constitute my struggles as a hero’s quest because I think when a hero’s goes on a quest he or she is trying to save someone who was put in danger by chance someone who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. What I struggled through was because of my own free will I chose to give up for a short period of time.
