Marriage

Evan Wolfson wrote a short story about “What is Marriage?”. He also stated “marriage is what we use to describe a specific relationship of love and dedication to another person”.

Ten years ago I met the love of my life. I knew he was the one I would probably spend the rest of my life with. We got married after five years of dating and all of our children were born too. We have two beautiful boys and three beautiful girl’s one of my daughters died so that left us with two. We’ve had our ups and downs; however, through guidance and the grace of God we’ve made it this far. We actually talk our problems out and we never go to bed mad. The most important thing we do is never let our children see us argue. Whatever we disagree about it’s never discussed in front of the children.

On April 3, 2011 my husband was rob and shot in San Francisco while he was going to his truck after closing a business deal with Charles Swab Investment Firm. The police notified me and I ran to the hospital to be by my husband. As I was on the freeway to San Francisco I was praying to God to not take my husband away from me because he is my everything and without him I can’t live without him. Once I reached the hospital the doctor was at the door to greet me and to tell me that my husband was in critical condition every thing in my body drop to the floor. He took me to the waiting room where my other family members were. I was approach by my sister-law and she asked me for his life insurance policy and I told her I am not giving you shit because my husband is going to live. I was also approached by the nurse to sign some papers and I was told by the nurse that your sister-law have be calling mortuary for arrangements so me being so angry I went up to her and slapped her and told her my husband is a fighter and he will live.
