1761 –Began writing his first compositions by finding notes on the keyboard 1762 - First visited Vienna

1764 - Wrote first symphony in London

1768 – Produced first real opera, astien und Bastienne

1773 - Employed as a court musician by the ruler of Salzburg

1775 - Developed an enthusiasm for violin concertos

1778 - Mother was taken ill and died

1779 - Accepted an appointment as court organist

1782 - Married Constanze Weber

1783 - First child born

1785- Met Lorenzo Da Ponte and composed the opera The Marriage of Figaro together

1787 - Appointed as the “chamber composer” by Emperor Joseph II

1787 – Wrote best-known serenade, Eine kleine Nachtmusik

1788 – Wrote last symphony in Vienna

1791 - Completed the opera The Magic Flute and premiered at Schikaneder's theatre

2. Born in Salzburg, Austria

1962 – First visited Vienna, Austria with his father. And from 1763 to 1766, Mozart had a musical tour across Europe, which had several long stays in Paris, France, London and England.

1766 – Returned back to Salzburg

1769 - Departed from Salzburg for Italy with his father and stayed for a long time

1779 – Returned back to Salzburg again, and accepted a position as court organist

1781 - Decided to settle in Vienna as a freelance performer and composer

3. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was the son of Leopold Mozart. Leopold was a famous composer and instructor who really good at violin playing. He was Wolfgang’s first teacher. Wolfgang received an intensive musical training from his father, including instruction in both the piano and violin. And then also in composition.
