Ethics can be referred to as moral principles that govern a person’s or group’s behavior. As a society we encounter different situations on an everyday basis that test our morals and values which results in a test of our integrity. A person, or company may be faced with a situation regarding certain ethical values that forced them to make a decision to do what’s “morally right”. Or deviate from what’s right to achieve a set goal or profit from that particular decision. The business world as well as everyday society follows a set of written and UN written laws that could be called a “code of ethics”. These ethics although bent and broken sometimes provides a sort of path for businesses, corporations, marketing firms, etc. anyone who intends to make a profit off a consumer or client. However, it’s no secret that short cuts are taken to find the end of the path quicker. Here lies our questions and issue with today’s business world. How should businesses respond to certain Marketing Ethics within society? What would you do in a situation where it was a choice between integrity and money?

Marketing Ethics are put in place to simply combat the lack of morals and values in the business world. Businesses must actively attack this issue by applying moral principles when they are dealing with clients or customers in all facets of communication including; production, promoting, and pricing of the goods and services they provide. The issues that derive from the unethicalness of business, stems from both universal issues, as well as the culture and beliefs of various people. This fact allows for marketing ethics to be a major factor in the world of business. It is then becomes a major priority’s of a particular firm, business, and company, anyone doing and kind of marketing for products or services...
