-What is cloud computing?
‘Cloud’ is a term occurred firstly in 1994, which is the use of services for organisations or individuals. It is about applications, services, and data storage on the Internet. Cloud service providers rely on massive server farms and giant storage devices which are connected though Internet protocols. (T.Bourgeois, 2014) Every computer has access to Internet can receive software delivery from cloud computing.The NIST definition lists five essential characteristics of cloud computing: on-demand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity or expansion, and measured service.(NIST, 2011) T.Bourgeois claims that in post-PC world, limited storage and processing power of PCs were going to be replaced by cloud computing, which is able to storage, share and backup of information on huge scales. (2014) Nowadays, cloud has infiltrated most people’s life even without notices.
