Expanding a company in general can be an eventful task that can be scary, exciting, and fun at the same time, however expanding to a new country can bring these to a whole new level. If you are able to take your time to research the country’s economic, cultural, political and legal environment, you may be able to get heads up on determining if your company would be a good fit. Researching this data will let you see some of the hardships or barriers you may face during this venture. Some more information you would want to have a good working knowledge of would be the countries workforce composition, and how this countries goes about marketing their products. Putting together a good operating plan will ensure that you succeed, however you may need an exit plan if things don’t go as planned. Being informed is going to make this process go smoother. That is why I have decided to do my paper on moving Chrysler Group LLC’s manufacturing operations to Australia as I feel they would be able to prosper there more instead of just selling their jeeps there.
