How I worked safely

I carried the routine firstly by cleaning the blood pressure monitor secondly I check that its working properly, I did this by checking the battery is fully charge.

Thirdly I made sure the patient is sitting comfortably on the chair with his arm rest on the desk and shirt sleeve rolled up and not too tight on the arm for me to get an accurate reading.

I then proceed by making sure the tube is not tired together and that it runs down the inner arm properly, we had a little conversation for him to relax and for reassurance.

The blood pressure monitor measures the blood pressure and takes the pulse at the same time. I place the monitor on his left arm for a better reading. I made sure that the cuff was positioned at the heart level during measure.

When doing the breathing rate I made sure the patient was very comfortably on the chair he was very relax for a good reading.

All other measurement and observation that I did went very well, the patient was sitting nicely, I asked him to adjust his sleeve to get an accurate reading, I checked the...
