The fact that ipv4 not being in an address format its addressing still consist of a network, subnet and also the host divisions. However, hierarchical addressing is used in IPv6 version in substitute to traditional classical type of address prefixes been used in IPv4. It is noted that the IPv6 addresses go in line in this form:

• Global routing prefix

• Subnet ID

• Interface ID

The value of the hierarchical global routing prefix is assigned to a site meanwhile, the subnet ID of the same site is link identifier which is within the site for a specific port within a network device (which is of a multi connected device having more than one interface).

However, considering of at least one node unicast address leaving out the internal structure (which includes its own):

The subnet prefix and the interfaceID;

The IPv6 addresses are represented in hexadecimal characters separated by colons. An example is as shown below:

IPv6 address GER0: 68: DE8:: 3ERB:2T4B:2DD: TT: TE26: 8F3S

As regards IPv4, it is noted that in IPv6 some bits are network/subnet, also some other addresses stands for host/interface. The IPv6 version has no subnet (for example 255.255.192.1) in IPv4. The network/host boundary are been distinguished by their network prefix while, the prefixes are been written in form of slash notation (/35) [22].

The Global unicast addresses - are considered as an equivalent to public IPv4 addresses while the IPv6 Global unicast addresses exist uniquely and globally which are publicly routable with a prefix 2000::/2 of its location for them (this starts with 2 or 3 hexadecimal addresses).

The Link- local addresses – these addresses uses Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP), they are usually automatically configured in IPv6 interfaces using routers. Also with link-local addresses, communication is been done over a single physical or logical subnet like a typical Ethernet based LAN....
