What kind of capabilities can help people to success have become a prevalent topic in 21st-century and that has no a specific evaluation criterion about how people can be successful in modern society because a rapidly increasing economy and relationship of complex have dominated current world. Therefore, growing exports are disputing which factors are essential for assisting person to success. This essay will express various ideas depend on two articles Gardner (2008) and Fernández-Aráoz (2014). Gardner main describe ‘Five Mind’ (Gardner, 2008, p. 1) and Fernández-Aráoz ‘s point is potential is more important (Fernández-Aráoz, 2014, p. 1).

According to future of market will change more complication and that will occurred complex relationship between each person, therefore, emotional intelligence will more important for helping person to success, for this point, this two articles have similar opinion is that communication is essential, however two articles’ focus are not same. After reading Fernández-Aráoz (2014) which said one of the factors of potential is engagement and determination which means a successful person should know how to use reasonable communication skills to convince and connect with people, the author take his friend Pedro Algorta for an example which describe in the mountain, he use relevant skills to help his fellows to avoid suffering from pain and maintain hope (Fernández-Aráoz, 2014, p. 8).
