Data- Driven Guide to Drive Instruction |

The Data: Grade level Cluster groups will be formed to go over data provided by AIMS and Galileo. Questions: What standards should students have mastery of? How many students are not meeting the standards? Are there trends in unattained standards? |

Planning: The cluster group will collaborate to align instruction, common classroom assignments and assessments guided by the Arizona State Standards. Questions: What do we want students to know? How will we know when they learn it? Are our assessments alike in order to compare common data? |

Common Assessments: Common bi-weekly assessments will be given. The cluster group will meet weekly to review this data finding trends and gaps in achievement.Questions: What have students learned? What are our current strategies that reflect positive results? What standards did students perform poorly on? |

Planning: Through weekly meetings, the cluster group will create RTI groups based on the level of students. Strategies to reteach or enhance student’s learning will be planned. Students struggling to master the standard will be retaught in small groups. Students who master and show higher level thinking on the standard can be given enhancement assignments. The group will decide on a rotation for students to go to other teachers to experience different teaching strategies.Questions: What do we do for those students who are not performing well? Which students should attend Friday school? Which teachers should students attend Friday school with? |

Review and Adjust: Through weekly meetings, the cluster group will review their strategies. They will collaborate about strategies that are providing positive results and adjust lessons to provide achievement in those areas that seem problematic.Questions: Which lessons do we continue to provide? Which lessons need to be adjusted and how can we make them more effective? |
