1.1 Origin of the report:

The title of my research work is ‘Credit Management of United Commercial Bank’ which actually highlight a Credit Management process of United Commercial Bank. As a requirement of the BBA program, I had to submit this report, which would include an overview of the organization I was attached with and elaboration of the study I was supposed to during the internship period.

1.2 Objectives of the report:

* The specific objectives of the study are

* To understand the need & objective of Credit Management.

* To finding out Credit Management practice by United Commercial Bank.

* To trace the origin of the Credit Management Process of the United Commercial Bank.

* To analysis and compatibility of Credit Management with that of standard.

* To evaluate the market compatibility of the Credit Management Process of

* the United Commercial Bank.

* To identify weakness & problem of Credit Appraisal &Management Process of the United Commercial Bank.

* To give some suggestion to overcome the weakness and problems that exists in the existing system.

1.3 Scope of the report:

This internship Project Paper covers the Loans & Advance of the “United Commercial Bank” This report has been preparing through discussion with Bank employees & with the customers. While preparing this report, I had a great opportunity to have an in depth knowledge of the loans and Advance management activities practiced by “United Commercial Bank”. It also helped me to acquire firsthand perspectives of a leading private Bank in Bangladesh. Specifically the report covers the following areas:
