There are a few different green distribution green practices being used across the globe within many organizations. The practices vary from environmentally sound to just plain energy efficient. Perhaps they two categories could be one in the same many organizations seem to prefer one more so than the other. One of the practices being used is environmental management systems which are used to help an organization reduce it environmental impact while helping boost their efficiency operating. n effective environmental management system (EMS) will let the company have a good corporate culture; so that staff knows most responsibility for protecting the environment, at the same time using the more systematic and professional methods to assess the environmental impact of the company, and looking for opportunities to reduce in energy and water usage, minimize waste and pollution. In addition, it can set clear targets to reduce environmental pollution and improve operational efficiencies and cost savings. Through following the EMS can ensure good resource management and to promote the sustainable development of the company. Some of the company's employees proposed, after the company to implement the EMS, most of employees increased awareness of environmental concerns; they try to reduce waste in their day-to-day production of the work consciously and use the renewable resources. The term came from an executive order in 1993 thus including purchasing decisions with the environment in mind. Environmentally preferable means products or services greater or equal to compared with other products serve the same exact purpose. In essence what we buy matters.
