CLUB IT – PART TWO

Introduction

In managing Club IT, it is essential to understand what the company’s needs are and how to resolve the Information Systems that are intact. Looking at the existing system and how it impacts the company, vendors, employees and most importantly the customers, there are a few things that Club IT needs to focus on to improve what is currently in place. These Information System issues that need updating will improve the company’s growth.

Business Problems at Club IT

The area’s where Club IT can improve include employee identity, customer relations, vendor relations, and the internal accounting system. The employee portal proves to be very vulnerable and identity theft will undoubtedly occur if not secured. The website for Club IT should be updated in several areas which include customer access for ordering merchandise, ability to offer suggestions on club improvement and removing Club IT financials. Working with 8 different vendors for such a small facility can become financially unbeneficial. Updating the accounting system will enhance the everyday business functions as well as secure financial status.

Club IT’s Resources, Customers, and Supply Chain

Club IT currently works with 8 different vendors and allows the 20 plus employees to order from the website, with the owners’ permission. There is not a user friendly website available to the customers which can make them seem not so appealing and would ruin the customer relations. The current Supply Chain process intact is null. The vendors use their own logistics process to deliver the products to them.
