Personal Model of Leadership

In today’s time of change I personally believe that my model of leadership will need to be evolving and flexible because people are different and the way I would approach them needs to be individual to that person’s needs, I would try to create a welcoming environment that will help create constructive communication that allows me to understand the needs of each individuals needs but also communicate back the purpose and goal of the organization to the individual.

Communication will be the primary tool that I feel will create results, I believe in working together as a team can create a dynamic environment and help people to develop in their leadership because it will cross train them in different areas and learn from others to build their knowledge and skills, It is also important to empower people so that their critical and strategically thinking can be exercised, I truly believe empowerment will be the key to building trust and a more strong relationship between the leader and the follower.

This is just the fundamentals on how my leadership style should be, on a personal level I feel the individual to be able to perform at his or hers best there needs to be a health and family security, I support organizations who assist with the individuals overall health of the individual and his or her family, it has been demonstrated that the overall wellbeing of the individuals physical and mental health can be a huge factor on the employees performance. As a leader I would like to know that those who follow are in good shape and feel secure that his or her families are protected.

On an interpersonal level it is important to maintain a level of respect between peers and leadership; it is important to have boundaries to avoid conflicts and/or misunderstanding between each other as well as for self-respect because like I said it before, is the foundation for all interpersonal relations.
