SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter summarizes the problem statement, methodology, the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the study.

Summary

This study was concerned with the status of Human Resource Management Information System and to find out which of the two operations is better to use in terms of accuracy, completeness, ease of use, security, speed and timeliness.

Findings

The entire respondent in this study were taken in the LGU-offices and in the office of the HRMO head of LGU- Barbaza.

The computer programs that operate the computerized Information Management System of LGU-Barbaza, was designed and prepared by the researcher using Microsoft Access and Visual Studio 2008. Likewise, relevant instruments were employed to ensure the validity of findings and accurate interpretation of data gathered.

Findings

Based on the study, the following findings were researched:

1. All questionnaires were analyzed and we find out that most of the respondents would like to use the computer-based Information Management System and only few of the respondents liked to use the manual system.

2. There is significant relationship in terms of completeness between computer-based system and manual system.

3. In terms of accuracy, the computer-based system is better because it is free from error. You can edit the records without any dirt, so you can view it clearly.

4. In terms of timeliness, still the Computerized System is better. You can finish your work faster. You don’t need to write all the information and records just to have a hardcopy of it because in computerized system, you can simply click the word PRINT.

5. In terms of ease of use, the computer-based system is better because the computerized is less difficult than the manual.

6. In security, computer-based system is very reliable. Because in the manual system, the records might be eaten by termites or will get wet. Unlike in computerized system, you...
