Abstract:

This paper is intended to discuss Globalization and their affects on American Companies. We will also look at how American Companies are working with International Companies to boost our economy.

Globalization is the main topic in now day’s politics, even as dinner table topic conversations. Mostly it has a bad reputation, and in some ways rightly so. Globalization is defined as a way for companies to break down the barriers and offer their goods and services to places and people that once was only a dream. Globalization has brought the world into a one world market place by the click of a finger.

American Companies as well as other countries have taken Globalization and made tremendous amounts of money by offer their products and services to other customers and even other businesses in some cases. Some good examples of Globalization is the access we as Americans have to different countries food, clothing, music, and much more. Other countries also have the same access to American goods and services and this allows the companies to collect revenues from places and markets that they have never before.

Another good aspect of Globalization is that helps build bridges between governments. This helps sometimes in negotiating terms between countries, especially if there is major money being spent between the two countries. Governments are especially more willing to work together if there is common goals shared by both parties and makes diplomacy easier. Globalization also helps developing countries provide income for its citizens as the money is pored into the region to develop the services needed. This is a great incentive for the local residence to become trained in the special needs and earn income for them and their family and helps alleviate the poverty line in the region.
