What is/are the goal(s) of our group? (goals should be SMART: Simple, Measurable, Attainable, Results oriented, Time bound)

The goals of the group will be in two parts, short term goals and long term goals

Short term

The group will determine the company and the structure as well as information need for the report. Each group member will them be distributed tasks according to their strengths and area of preference for the project. Everyone is expected to develop synergy to better determine each other’s capabilities and differences. Drafts are expected to be presentable to the group well before the project deadline to receive feedback and evaluation

Long Term

Group meetings will be set to clear as much confusion and questions as much as possible between members and set small accomplishable tasks. Where everyone presents their opinions and work to each other.

Once the drafts are completed and group is ready to precede to form the final project, it will be completed a few days ahead to allow a buffer time for corrections and suggestions from the professor or TA if available for help. Editing and heavy work is to be done by the entire group to avoid potential one sided conflicts.

Overall goal to be achieved from the project is the experience needed to function as a group and work with a client to test the skills and knowledge of every group member.

What are our pressures? (ex. Money? Time?)

The pressures our group will experience during this project will be to ensure all deadlines are met with a high standard of work. As well as maintaining a constant line of communication with the company that we are working with during the duration of ITM700/800.

How will we deal with/compensate for our pressures?

We will deal with the pressures of meeting deadlines by ensuring we have a time line indicating what is to be done and when it has to be done by. In dealing with the pressure of maintaining a constant line of communication with the company we are...
