INTRO:

Business analytics focuses on descriptive data, diagnostic data, predictive data, perceptive data and statistical methods to develop insight towards business performance and decision markers. Business analytics use data to establishes benchmarks, identify causes, improve performance and provides ongoing real time monitoring. Over the last few years business analysts have noted that business intelligence is on top priority for decision markers. Business analytics are sought out because decision makers feel this will create a positive impact on business growth and results. Building an implementation plan can seem like an overwhelming task and that is what I’m here to assist with. The purpose of this paper is to provide you with information about:

-Business Analytics (BA)

-Management Information Systems (MIS). Explaining the importance os MIS in relation to data-driven decisions. Define and explain MIS

-Techniquiques (2) and tools (3) that can be utilized to manage data. Tie it back to the organization. Give three examples of how the techniques and tools can be used to present data to management

Determining Analytic and Company Readiness.

IT readiness:

-Do you have the right technical team in place? Analytics projects are of a different breed then most tech projects. Making sure a team is in place that has experience with using business analytics and MIS will ease the process of integration of technology

-Do you have the type of leadership needed to roll out a new system and process? Leadership is crucial since BA is combining data, IT, strategies, and alternative methods like CATWOE it is desirable to have experienced leaders.

-Do you have the right typeof technology in place to support a MIS and use BA? A central server already in place is ideal. This will allow...
