Proposal: The green building technology is an idea that aims at coming up with eco-friendly homes. The constructions of such homes will use local available materials in the construction of houses, thus reducing pollution. The project also targets to conserve water, energy, and recycle wastes in a bid to reduce the cost of living and preserve the environment.

Environmental Pollution and Diseases

For the past few decades, the issue of environmental pollution has been a major topic of debate in several platforms across the globe. Governments and environmental watch bodies have been holding conferences on numerous occasions to mitigate on the most appropriate ways of reducing the catastrophe. A lot of researches are also going on to establish the most viable means of eliminating the menace to ensure continuity of the human race. One of such researches illustrates that the wastes from homes contributes to about 25% of the total global environmental pollution. Most of these wastes emanates from the sources of power that are in use in the majority of the homes. Used water from homes also contributes to this pollution. A shocking report by Ratajczak (2011) indicates that environmental pollution highly contributes to the occurrences of autism as well as intellectual failure. A study by central for disease control reveals that at least one out of every eight-six children suffers from autism. Another study executed by the University of Chicago indicates that genital malformation in boys results from exposure to detrimental environmental factors like pesticides.

The research further denotes that for every 1% increase in malformations, the frequency of autism rises by 283% while the mental inability increases by about 94%.
