The Cause and Effect of Exercising

Exercising is a desirable activity. When done properly it can be good for one in many ways. If done improperly or for the wrong reasons it can have many negative effects. Exercise can affect one both positively and negatively. The effects can be mental, physical, and social.

Mentally, exercise can be both positive and negative. While exercising the brain releases hormones that help the body to deal with stress. This results in feeling less stressed after exercising. Many people exercise to relieve their stress. Others who may have a disease such as anorexia may exercise because they see themselves as overweight. This can result in major health issues and severely damage their body.

Physically, exercise can also be both positive and negative. People have the motivation to exercise because they believe their bodies are not physically correct. If correctly preformed, exercise is great for one’s body. Exercising on a regular, healthy schedule, one can physically look good and feel good. Exercising constantly and not giving their body a break can affect one’s body negatively. With the constant repetition and no breaks, one’s body can begin to break down. This can lead to fractures, torn muscles, ripped tendons and ligaments.

Socially, exercise can have both a positive and negative affect. People may exercise just to fit in a social class and or an activity. This can be good for one because they create new friends and also better their body. It can also be bad though. One can become over competitive and over stress their body and even become mean to other people. This can result in damage to their health and reputation.

Exercise can have a positive or a negative effect on someone. One can be affected mentally, physically, and socially. Exercise can be done correctly and incorrectly.
