Police officer are law enforcement officials that protect and serve the public. Police officers jobs are required to be handled in an efficient manner that was given from the chain of command by a higher ranked officer. Police officers have various jobs and they have certain things to help them perform their jobs to the best of their ability. Police officers have different assignments that will protect the community and also other fellow officers. Some pf police officer duties are patrols whether on foot or in the car. The job of the officer on patrol to prevent any crimes from transpiring.

Police officers answer any calls or complaints if it is robbery, accidents, assault, or any other crime. Not only do police officer have a specific job but they also have to write out reports, be able to properly carry firearms and have good intelligence and be emotionally stable. The jobs of police officer weren’t be able to be properly done without additional help, one of the things that police officers and also other law enforcement officials use are CCTV. This paper will discuss the use of CCTV and how police officers use them in everyday activities.

The purpose of this proposed research will show how CCTV are used and how it can help police officers find criminals and also solve cases. CCTV are closed circuit televisions. These cameras are put in various areas these cameras are said to prevent crime in certain neighborhoods that would usually be at an all-time high. In the city of Philadelphia there are 18 cameras in 12 different locations. The way the cameras are set up they are so close together and they may overlap each other due to their locations. The CCTV can only prevent crime if the assailant knows of the existence of the camera, if he or she does not the camera and the evidence obtained on it can still be used. In a specific case Katz Vs.
