In Climate Denial

Secretively, several large oil companies are blocking climate policies to stop the development of clean energy. Greenpeace organization has step forward fearless of these large wealthy oil companies calling them out on there poisoning of the eco system. Greenpeace holds these companies accountable with a project named Polluter Watch. Polluter Watch holds polluters, their lobbyist, and politicians who work for them accountable for poisoning the climate debate, and jamming needed environmental regulations.

In Polluter Watch’s most recent and consistent prey is Koch Industries. Billionaire David Koch is a right wing philanthropist. David Koch has funded the Cato Institute to publish the World Climate Report. The World Climate Report is a journal of ongoing denunciation of climate science. I believe this to be a moral matter that is influencing the world and that the environment is not affected. People influenced by what is accessible as fact. When a company is giving inaccurate information to enhanced their profits and avoid spending, they should be punish.

The only punishment Koch Industries has received is ridicule from the press. This company affects not only the local communities but also communities all across America. These companies rationalize they are not causing damage to the world. The Cato Institute’s Hand Book for Policymakers is rose-colored glasses for policy makers. It rationalizes global warming as a natural occurrence that has not happened in 11 years. Then why are we talking about it?

The impact of carbon emissions has caused the warmest climate change in the last millennia. The direct effect on our community is an upsurge in extreme weather events such as tropical storms, heat waves, and wildfires. Here in the San Francisco Bay area we are affecting by a contaminated bay that we cannot eat or swim. Our wildfires are at there highest rates in history.
